Jim Scheele brings a wealth of experience in philanthropy, economic development, and community engagement to the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Prior to his current role, Jim spent five years as a Philanthropy Officer with the Friends of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Foundation, where he managed a diverse portfolio of prospective donors and secured substantial contributions to support CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital-New Braunfels. His work as a critical liaison between the foundation and hospital leadership fostered strategic relationships.

A Southwest Texas State University graduate, Jim’s career began with the Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, where he served as Director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau and economic development director. His career includes leadership roles such as Senior Facilities Manager at The Scooter Store and Walmart Distribution Center hiring manager.

A lifelong resident of New Braunfels, Jim is deeply committed to his community. He currently serves on the United Way of Comal County board and is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
